Welcome to Our Newly Remodeled Website!

This website has been developed to help you understand the Word of God, the Holy Bible. We believe that the Word of God holds the keys to a peaceful, fruitful, joyful life. Jesus said that the "truth shall make you free." As you walk with Jesus and learn what the Word of God teaches you will find a new found freedom in your life.

Some of the teachings on this website may be unlike any you have ever heard. Let me encourage you to keep an open mind and also to search out what is being taught here to see if it lines up with the Bible or not. If you have problems with any of the lessons and don't agree. Send me scriptures and we can discuss your differences. Many of the lessons contained in this website will step on the toes of traditional Christianity. Jesus said that the "tradition of man makes the commandment of God of no effect." It is time to get rid of tradition and believe what the Word of God really says!

Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you. 1 Timothy 4:16

Diety vs. Humanity - Who is Jesus?

Several years ago, I met Janie White. She was a gospel singer and she travelled with her husband and children. Together, they made up “Janie White and The Sonlights”. Janie had grown up with an obvious talent to sing and she was a well respected night club singer in Las Vegas. She shared with me once, how she had never heard anything about Jesus other than the little baby of which we celebrate his birth at Christmas until she was married and had children. I just thought everyone in this country knew who Jesus was.

It is true, almost everyone in this country knows that Christmas is about Jesus. But a lot of people don’t know that Jesus existed long before we see Him in the cradle in Bethlehem and He still lives today.

John 1:1-5
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Jesus has always been here, just like God, the Father and the Holy Spirit. We see Jesus as “the Angel of the Lord” in the Old Testament. Jesus is the one that wrestled with Jacob the night his hip was put out of joint and his name was changed to Israel. Jesus was the fourth man in the fire when the three Hebrew children were thrown in the fiery furnace. We also see many other times that Jesus appears in the Old Testament.

When God created Adam and Eve, He gave them free reign in the beautiful and perfect garden He created for them. The only thing they could not do was eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Most Bible scholars believe that Adam and Eve didn’t make it one week before they sinned, since we never see them have the seventh day of rest.

When Adam sinned, this caused a separation between all of mankind and God because the Bible tells us that God is so pure that He cannot even look at sin. God still loved Adam and every person that would come after the first couple but there was a problem. God had given all authority in this earth to Adam and when Adam made the choice to sin, he, in turn, gave all of that authority to Satan. Since then, man no longer was worthy to live forever with God. In His infinite wisdom, God came up with a plan to send Jesus to be born, live and die as a man but to live a life completely free of sin. Because of Adam’s sin, sin is passed down through the father’s blood so God had to send the Holy Spirit for Eve to conceive. Jesus was born just like any other baby except he was not born into sin. When Jesus stepped into Mary’s womb, somehow He took off his deity and put on humanity. The way the Bible describes it, Jesus took off His deity, or His “God-ness”, if you will, like a person would take off a coat.

As Jesus grew, He discovered who He was through the scriptures. We even see him, at the age of twelve, teaching the “teachers” on the steps of the temple. None of this was done supernaturally, it was done as a man. Even when we see Jesus performing miracles like turning water into wine, walking on water, raising the dead and healing the sick, these were all done as a man, not as God! Jesus said something that amazes me and something that most Christians need to get hold of:

John 14:12
"I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.”

The same Jesus that has always been there with God the Father, the same Jesus that stepped into His humanity as the little Baby wrapped in swaddling clothes in Bethlehem and the same Jesus that died on the cross at Calvary is the same Jesus that now sits on the right hand of God the Father! Jesus defeated Satan at Satan’s own game and by Satan’s own rules. Jesus’ blood sealed the deal and Jesus has given all that power and authority! When we really understand what He did, the church will begin to see miracles like those that happened at the hands of Jesus but He said we would see even greater, or even more things happening in His name! We have incredible authority through Christ’s name and by His shed blood. When you walk in your spiritual authority demons will tremble and miracles will happen because of what He did, not because of us.

The greatest miracle is for a person to be born again! If you have never accepted Christ as your savior and Lord, let me encourage you to take that step today. It is the easiest thing you’ll ever do. All you have to do is call out to Him and ask Him to save you.

Romans 10:13
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Don’t wait until you think you are good enough or until you give up this or that habit. Do it now and God will help you change to be the person He wants you to be. God loves you JUST like you are and wants to bless you and live with you forever!
